The Princess Royal to visit Estonia in May

Kohtumisel Briti Kuningliku Printsess Anne'iga rääkisime üldisest julgeolekuolukorrast, Ühendkuningriigi panusest Eestis paiknevasse liitlaste lahingugruppi ning koostööst välisoperatsioonidel.

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal will visit Estonia on 30th of May. HRH will meet the President of the Republic of Estonia, Mrs. Kersti Kaljulaid and lay wreaths at the Defence Forces Cemetery of Tallinn to commemorate those fallen in the Estonian War of Independence, including the British soldiers who lost their lives in the same war.

As Royal Colonel-in-Chief of The King's Royal Hussars, The Princess Royal will visit the regiment stationed in Tapa as a part of NATO battlegroup in Estonia.

The Princess Royal is the only daughter and second child of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh. She was known as Princess Anne until she was given the title of The Princess Royal by The Queen in June 1987. The Princess Royal supports The Queen in her role as Head of State by representing Her Majesty at events in the UK and abroad, as well as attending state and ceremonial occasions alongside other members of the Royal Family. Her Royal Highness is involved with over 300 charities, organisations and military regiments in the UK and overseas, and she devotes a large part of her working life to official engagements and visits.
