President Kaljulaid to embark on a work visit to Iceland

President Kersti Kaljulaid will today embark on a work visit to the Republic of Iceland where she will participate in the Women Political Leaders Annual Global Summit, meet with the President of Iceland, give a public lecture, meet with Estonians living in Iceland and speak at a reception to mark Estonia's Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Tomorrow, the President of the Republic will participate in Reykjavik in the Women Political Leaders (WPL) Annual Global Summit to speak about Estonia's success story in the digital sphere. The same day President Kaljulaid will meet with the President of Iceland, Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson, and Estonians living in Iceland and will speak at a reception to mark Estonia's Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

On Thursday, the Estonian Head of State will give an open seminar at Nordic House at the invitation of the Institute of International Affairs of the University of Iceland, focusing on "The Challenges and Opportunities of Small States".

President Kaljulaid will return to Estonia late on Thursday night.
