President of the Republic, Kersti Kaljulaid, will participate in the annual foreign and security policy conference in Munich from Friday until Sunday. The Munich Security Conference is the most important Trans-Atlantic security and foreign policy conference of its kind.

A report published before the conference this year focuses on the post-truth world. On Saturday, the Head of State will take part in a discussion about Eurasia of the conference. In addition, a number of bilateral meetings with the heads of other countries and high ranking officials are planned to take place over these three days. Margus Trahnka, Minister of Defence, is also part of the delegation.

Each year the Munich Security Conference brings together more than 450 senior decision-makers from around the world including heads-of-state, ministers, leading personalities of international and non-governmental organisations, as well as high ranking representatives of industry, media, academia and civil society.
