President Kersti Kaljulaid has invited the leaders of all the parliamentary parties to Kadriorg this evening to discuss the political situation that has evolved.

"The nation has given Parliament a mandate by means of elections, and it is the duty of Parliament to make use of that very mandate. Parliament is responsible for giving Estonia a government that will help Estonia prosper and continue to commit to our current defence and security policy position, and to make that happen as soon as possible. It is said that we must not forget the past, but I would like to remind each and every member of Parliament and the leaders of the parties that we must also not forget the future," said the Head of State.

The Chairman of the Estonian Reform Party, Taavi Rõivas, is invited to Kadriorg by 4 pm; the Chairman of the Estonian Centre Party, Jüri Ratas, for 5 pm; the Chairman of the Estonian Social Democratic Party, Jevgeni Ossinovski, at 5:30 pm, the Chairman of Pro Patria and Res Publica Union, Margus Tsahkna, at 6 pm, Chairman of the Estonia Free Party, Andres Herkel, at 6:45 and the Chairman of the Conservative People's Party of Estonia, Mart Helme, at 7:15 pm.
